Obituary

Tammy R. Howard was born on January 26, 1967 in Dawson, MN.  She graduated from Hendricks High School in 1985 and confirmed at the Calgary Lutheran Church in Hendricks, MN.  She worked as a certified nurses’ assistant in Brookings, SD, Sleepy Eye, MN, and at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell.  She was an avid Vikings fan and enjoyed spending time with her friends, family and animals.

She is survived by her son, Phillip Howard of Mitchell; her mother, Sonia of Mitchell; four brothers: Dave (Roxanne) Howard of Brookings, Ted Howard of New Ulm, MN, Tim (Karla) Howard of Brookings and Chad Howard of Waconia, MN; five sisters: Sandy Rykhus of New Ulm, MN, Jill (Dennis) Theunissen, Shelly Howard both of Mitchell, Sara (Chris) Lombard of Sioux Falls, and Erica (Aaron) Mages of Savage, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by grandparents: Alma and Sherman Howard and Emmy and Herbert Schacherer; and one uncle, Larry Schacherer.
