Beulah Lou Weber was born October 9, 1934 in Alexandria, SD to Lewis A. and Clara D. (Krienke) Weber. She attended the township elementary school near their farm and graduated from Mitchell High School in 1952. She moved to Waterloo, IA and worked in the business office for the Rath Packing Company until 1954. She returned to Mitchell to attend Dakota Wesleyan University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1958. She worked at KORN-TV in Mitchell and later at KXAB-TV in Aberdeen, SD while attending Northern State Teacher’s College. In 1969 she became the Media Coordinator for the Vermillion, SD public school system and earned her Masters of Arts Degree from the University of South Dakota in 1971. She held several other supervising, art design and teaching positions throughout her career ending up in Garden City, KS in 1992 and retiring in 1999. She was a member of the Christian Faith.
She is survived by one sister, Dorothy M. Weber of Woodburn, OR and nineteen nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Lewis and LuVern, and three sisters, Wilma Takaiachi, Louise Allen and Anabelle Dortland.
