Saddened to hear of the passing of John. I grew up in Mitchell and knew John and his sisters Marsha and Carol from our parents gatherings. Our parents Raymond and Coral Zard and Nelles and Bert Thomas were family friends all their life. My brother Bill spent all the years of growing up and till Johns death a true friend. So glad Bill was in Florida for Funeral and coming to South Dakota to say his final good by. I send my best to the family. My prayers are with you at this difficult time. I am glad Rob and I had the opportunity to visit John and his family in Florida when Bill lived there.
