Sheryl Janett Thompson was born December 5, 1950 in Mitchell SD. She was the fourth borne child to James and Dorothy (Miller) Zeal. She grew up on a farm near Artesian and attended school at Plano and Artesian. On January 4, 1975 she married Raymond Thompson at the Farwell Methodist Church. She lived in Mitchell and was a member of the Resurrection Lutheran Church. She was employed at Starr Fireworks, Herters, was a professional housekeeper and was a housekeeper at various motels in Mitchell.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond, three children: Michael (Angie) Bollweg, Harold SD, Robert Thompson, Sioux Falls SD, David Thompson, Brandon SD; three grandchildren, Madison Bollweg, Regan Bollweg and Castiel Thompson; four sisters: Sonya (Alvin) Hartman, Brandon SD, Sandy (Dick) Gerstenecker, Mitchell SD, Sharon (Royce) Titze, Mitchell SD and Sharlene Schenkel, Mitchell SD and numerous nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Zeal and one sister, Carol Ann Zeal.
