Obituary

Chris Allen Buckley was born April 1, 1971 in Mitchell to Ray and Evelyn (Fouts) Buckley. He grew up in Mitchell where he attended school and graduated from Mitchell High School in 1990. He was employed by Peterson Concrete for twenty years.  Chris was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his parents, Ray and Evelyn, three brothers: Devin Buckley, Ryan (Stacy) Buckley and Alan Buckley all of Mitchell, three nieces: Allison Buckley, Natalie Buckley and Destiny Pinder-Buckley and two nephews: Ben Buckley and Jason Buckley, two uncles:  Dennis Fouts (Helen) of Pueblo West, CO and Gene (Donna) Buckley of St. Johns, MI and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Buckley and his grandparents.

Anyone that ever met Chris enjoyed being around him; and knew that he was a one of a kind special guy. God bless the Buckley family.

It's been a long time since I've seen Chris. But I do remember that smile. He was genuine. My prayers go out to all of you family and friends. I am truely sorry for your loss and truely sorry that this world lost such a good hearted person. Rest assured you will see him again, some day.

Ray and Evelyn ,my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during this sad time. He was such a pleasant person, I never seen him that he didn't have time to stop and visit even if it was just to say a couple words. He is in heaven watching over all of his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace.

Ray,Evelyn and family
I never met Chris but Evelyn was related to my husband, who just passed away September 10. We met Ray and Evelyn at a Hvam reunion a few years ago. It sounds as though you will have endless precious memories to get you through the coming months. and they should offer you much comfort.

Chris was a great young man, Mike worked with him when Chris was younger, then our son Kaleb worked with Chris when he started working, Chris took him and guided him at work, so thankful for that. You will be missed, our thoughts and prayers go out to his family

Everytime it lightnings I will think of Chris..He lived lived,love and laugh on his own terms and I was lucky enough to have some of the laughs when he would be doing work at our house.Look out heaven here he comes.God bless him and his famiy.I will always smile when I think of you Chris..

Very sorry of Chis' passing. Luckily we had the last few weeks to spend time, along with Todd hunting together,as well as the many laughs after. Ever since you were young you always had a way to bring a smile and laughter to those around you. No question you are and will be greatly missed! Rest in peace my friend....

Chris was a great person and friend, he would go above and beyond to help someone in need, he was just a great friend not to mention his infectious smile that would just light up the room, every time I seen him he was always smiling no matter what was going on!!!
