Wilma Lorraine Stainbrook was born November 9, 1924 at Bridgewater, SD to Grover and Emma (Zanter) Prickett.  She grew up attending country schools.  She was baptized and confirmed in the Zion Lutheran Church at Clayton, SD.  On June 25, 1947 she married Everett C. Stainbrook at Scotland, SD.  They moved to Mitchell where she was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Zion Circles, the church choir, the American Legion Auxiliary, the VFW and was a volunteer at Avera Brady Health and Rehab.

 

She is survived by one son, Roger Stainbrook and his wife, Rebecca of Dallas, TX; two daughters, Nancy Scheetz and husband, Doug of Mitchell, Laurie Stainbrook of Mitchell; three granddaughters, Nichole North and husband, Mike, Kimberly Scheetz, Evelyn Stainbrook, two great-grandchildren, Katelyn North, Adam North and two sisters, Emma Brown of Yankton and Lila Thorp of Sioux City, IA.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Everett in 1998.
