I am very sorry to read of the news.
I noticed the obit in the Argus Leader this morning.
I have lots of great memories of being neighbors and family get togethers.....in fact, I have at least two stitches on the top of my head from a swimming pool dive (the old 1 foot pool looked much deeper. :-) Mary Beth, so sorry to read the news......

I am sorry to learn about the passing of Mrs. Brown. The loss of a loved one is extremely painful. I'd like to share scripture that may bring comfort and hope to your family. Mark 5:35-43 reads in part...While Jesus was speaking, he overheard men telling an officer of the synagogue that his daughter had died. Upon hearing this, Jesus, Peter, James and John, the brother of James, went alone to the officer's home. When they arrived, Jesus went to the deceased child and told her to get up. Immediately, she got up. You see, Jehovah promises a resurrection of our loved ones. (Acts 24:15) We must have faith in this promise. To help strengthen our faith in His promise, please also read Isaiah 55:11 and Isaiah 25:8.

Bob, Jim, Dick, Mary Beth and family,
I learned from my aunt Ellen Crockett via email about Mickey. It saddens me greatly to learn of Micky's passing. Part of my childhood goes with her. I remember so many happy hours playing over at your house and often staying for supper. If I remember correctly, I frequently invited myself! And when you were the first family in our West 12th neighborhood to get a TV (black & white with nothing on until 4:00 pm but the Indian bulls-eye screensaver ) and you graciously turned it around and positioned it in your living room window facing outward so we neighbors could watch it! Oh my, what great neighbors and what wonderful friends to my parents George and Florence. Bob, you especially are held close in prayer as this union was your life. My the God of All Comfort be your comfort in these days and weeks ahead. My love to each of you, Brown Family!
