Mr. Ruth was my favorite teacher. He helped guide me through four years of High School, and helped to advise me when I got my first job in Washington, D. C. What a sad day. Prayers to his family.

Bob Ruth was an example to me of a life-long learner. Not only was he learned in the educational world, he also continued learning in the spiritual/religious world. He valued the Word of God. Bob was a good friend who possessed a confident but jovial inner spirit. He was a devoted and committed husband to Phyllis as well.

Mr. Ruth was my first male teacher . I was was terrified of him.He became one of my favorite teachers and a good friend. I babysat his girls. He wanted a boy but was so happy when Cindy was born. He wrote her a poem. I enjoyed his friendship and encouragement. What a nice human being. Prayers to his family. I know he'll be missed.
