I love Aliens so much that I feel like I should be more execitd about Prometheus, but the trailers are really reminding me that I do kinda prefer the, er... Cameron factor of the sequel to the first film. It's not looking like it has the throughline I was expecting, going by that trailer (guessing Noomi isn't actually the protagonist as such going by that Scene of Obvious Doom? Unless it was a dream sequence?!). But hey, it might just be the pitch of the soundtrack freaking me out - that screeching noise towards the end literally makes me so uncomfortable it's almost unpleasant to watch it (as does the sound in the TDKR prologue sequence.. obviously I'm not cut out for this years's blockbusters!!)Even weirder than the Firefly reference, the opening shot with the waterfall feels oddly like LOTR - i thought I was looking at Gollum for a second there...!

Le nom de Peter Weyland m'a imme9diatement fait penser e0 Alien vs. Predator. L'un des penrensagos principaux est Charles Bishop Weyland, joue9 par Lance Henriksen. Une information sans grande importance. Mais bon. :D

Was so sad to hear of Glyde's passing. She was a great lady and I always admired her. Raymond and Lawrence worked together for so many years and he always appreciated Glydes friendship. She will be missed, but so warmly greeted home in heaven with all her loved ones.

We are saddened to read of Glyde's death. Weyland has so many great memories of Glyde,Lawrence and Joyce. We will not be able to attend her funeral as Weyland's health has deteriorated the last 2 years and he is wheelchair bound and has a bad memory. I can't leave him alone and so don't get very far from home. We hope your memories are of comfort to you in the days ahead.
