Kenneth Floyd Wilson was born June 10, 1916, at Mitchell, to Sylvester and Alma (Riley) Wilson. He grew up and attended school in Davison County. He started farming with plow horses in 1930 and milked cows for many years retiring from farming in 1982. On December 4, 1949, he married Irene M. Felton at the Methodist parsonage in Mitchell. He was a member of the Mitchell Township Board, Rural Fire Department and the Cornerstone Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; six children: Leeland Wilson and wife, Sandy of Sun City, AZ, Ronald Wilson of Fort Pierre, Corinne Wulf and husband, Jerry of Saint Louis, MO, Trudy Kirchhevel of Mitchell, Spencer Wilson of Mitchell, Warren Wilson and wife, Sherri of Onida; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Everett Wilson of Mitchell; one sister, Mary Ellen Malde of Mitchell and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Clarion Wilson, one sister, Frances Green, two brothers-in-law, Edwin Malde and Bob Green and one sister-in-law, Marjorie Wilson.
