Obituary

Gerald Eugene London was born May 27, 1940, at Colome, SD, to Gerald and Mary (Sinclair) London. He grew up and attended school at Colome and in Colorado. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1958 until 1962. He married Shirley Frank, June 12, 1964, at Mount Vernon. He was a Deputy Sheriff in Brule County, and then a truck driver for Edwards Oil Company out of Winner and Gary Goodman Trucking of Chamberlain. Currently he was employed at the Tri-County Landfill.

He is survived by two sons: Dan London and wife Janis of Mount Vernon, Wade London and wife Stephanie of Mitchell, three daughters: Keely Johnson and husband Charlie of Gillette, WY; Shanna Mohnen and husband Robert of White Lake; Leah Storm and husband Jared of Ethan; fourteen grandchildren, seven brothers and sisters: Sally Meyer and husband Charlie of Pukwana; Mike London of Chamberlain; Pat London and wife Nancy of Timberwood, MN; Ginger Urban and husband Dennis of Kimball; Marianne Schlepuetz and husband Leonard of Kimball; Maureen Gerdes and husband John of Kimball; and Donna DeKemper and husband Mike of Keyhole, WY, one uncle, three aunts and many nieces and nephews 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Goeff Fletcher.

We will miss your class act Gene. You were always a joy to be around and greeted everyone with a smile. You were one of the best livestock haulers around. We both have great memories of you and will treasure them.
