Obituary

Jamie Lyn Shannon was born July 12, 1977 in Mitchell to Jerome and Cindy (Hubbart) Beatch. She attended Mitchell Public Schools graduating from high school in 1995 and then attended Mitchell Technical Institute. On June 23, 2001 she married Chad Shannon at Holy Family Catholic Church. They resided in Sioux Falls where she was currently employed at the Arena Motel.

She is survived by her husband, Chad, parents, Jerome and Cindy Beatch, Fulton; sisters: Nicole (Ben) Holzbauer, Wagner; Bobbi Beatch, Mitchell; nephews: Caleb and Camdyn Beatch and Wesley Holzbauer, grandmothers: Louise Hubbart and Bertha Beatch, Mitchell and Dorothy Danielson, Sioux Falls; great grandmother, Evelyn Hubbart, Mitchell; father and mother-in-law, Patrick and Nancy Shannon and brother-in-law, Jordan Shannon, Sioux Falls.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Francis Beatch and Robert Hubbart.

Jerome, Cindy, and Family - I'm so sorry to hear of Jamie's passing. She was and will continue to be an inspiration to everyone who knew her. I can remember babysitting for her ; she was such a beautiful little girl. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I know all to well how all of you feel and I wish there was something I could say to lessen the pain in your hearts. The only thing that helped, for me, was a pat on the back, a hug from a good frind, and the passage of time.
