Della Agnes Traut was born on the family farm, January 15, 1922, at Kimball, SD, to John and Tillie (Skluzak) Paclik. She graduated from eighth grade from Pazour country school at Bijou Hills. On February 15, 1940, she married Charles Sebesta at Kimball. They later divorced. Della moved to Mitchell in 1947 and worked at Armour Creameries for a number of years. On August 30, 1952, she married Richard Traut at Mitchell. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Della enjoyed sewing and was an active gardener.
She is survived by two daughters: Mavis (Darrell) Peterson of Hermosa, Mary Sebesta of Mitchell; two granddaughters: Roxane (Brian) Zimmer of Mitchell and Glenda (Ken) Mostek of Denver, CO; one grandson, Wade (Laurie) Peterson of Des Moines, IA; great- grandchildren, Holly Zimmer of Sioux Falls, Rachelle, Ashley and Tristen Zimmer of Mitchell, Sydney, Taylor and Dawson Peterson of Des Moines, one brother, Leonard Paclik of Mitchell, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Sylvester and Joseph and her husband, Richard in 2003.
