Blanche Marquea Henrich was born November 9, 1913, at Bagley, MN, to Erick and Signa (Semmingson) Wick. She grew up and attended school at Northhome, MN, and graduated from Northhome High School. She graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in St. Paul, MN, in 1935. In 1938, she married Urban Henrich in St. Paul, MN. She moved to Mitchell in 1955 and was a Registered Nurse and night Supervisor at Methodist Hospital for many years until her retirement. After retiring from Methodist Hospital she worked at a nursing home in Sioux City, IA. She moved to North Mankato, MN, in 2007. She was a member of the American Auxiliary.
She is survived by one son, Joseph Henrich, Mitchell, SD; two daughters: Betty Beiswanger and her husband, Jack of North Mankato, MN, Judy Genter and her husband, Curt of Knoxville, TN and three sisters: Edith Jones, of St. Paul, MN; Ann Promersberger of Fargo, ND; Millie Gordon of Big Falls, MN; sixteen grandchildren and forty-one great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Stanley Henrich, two daughters, Bonnie Henrich Stoltz, Margaret Henrich and her husband, Urban Henrich.
