Shannon,
Lean on your friends and family for strength, and always remember how much you are cared about. I am thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.

"Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy. "

From the Ross Family: We love you, Richard. God does have our hero now. You are going to be loved, even by the people who never got to meet you. You will always be our butterfly!

Our thoughts are with all of Rich's family as you gather to pay tribute to your sibling, Father, uncle, cousin or friend. Distance may prevent us from being in attendance, but not from having you all in our hearts.
I (Shirley) had a very nice visit Monday with Dolly. She shared with me the final days with Rich's life, his birthday and family gathering.
We wish you all our best. We look forward to seeing everyone next summer (July 23 2011) in Mitchell at the re-union.

You often wonder why God has to endure so much pain on taking one of his own home. Only through grieve and struggle comes peace and comfort on knowing that your loved one is no longer suffering.
Shannon, Shawn, Wyatt and Waylon~ my hearts go out to you all. Your father meant alot to me, he was like a father to me. Through time it will get easier. When your feeling blue just think back to all the great memories that was shared with your father.
I will deeply miss him, but his love and memory will always be in my heart.

You passed away. Although I loved you dearly, I couldn't make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke my heart to prove to me he only takes the best! When non of it made any sense and just as I was about to lose Faith, GOD whispered in my ear "Heaven needed a Hero!" You will be forever missed, but never forgotten daddy! XOXO
