Joyce June Huber


June 16, 1939 - May 25, 2010




Joyce June Huber was born June 16, 1939 at Willow Lake, SD to Samuel and Susie (Pullman) Wipf.  She attended Willow Lake Public School and moved to Huron in 1960.  She married Delton W. Huber on December 1, 1961 at the Methodist Church in Alexandria, SD.  They lived in Mitchell.

Joyce worked at Herters, Brady and Firesteel Nursing Homes and did private house cleaning later on.  She retired early because of health problems.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mitchell.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Janet Styles and husband, Jim of Crooks, SD and her son, Delton Wayne Huber, Jr. and wife, Sue of Mitchell; three grandchildren:  Matthew Styles and wife, Amanda of Sioux Falls, Melissa Styles and Kristen Styles of Crooks, SD; one great-granddaughter, Emma Joy Styles; a brother, Harold Wipf of Huron, SD and many nephews and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her husband in 2000; a brother, Marvin Wipf; two sisters:  Esther Arends and Dorothy Putnum, two infant sisters, Elvina and Rose and her parents.

Sorry to learn of your mothers passing, She was a wanderful lady. She will be geartly missed. One thing to remember is She is now with Delton. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Delton, Sorry to here of your Moms passing. I always enjoyed seeing her smiling face when she came in the grocery store. She will be missed, but is in a better place now.

Janet, Wayne and families: You have my heartfelt sympathy and prayers. Your Mom was always happy, talkative and had a big smile. She sure loved all of you! What a joy Emma Joy was! I am so sorry I am unable to travel to Mitchell. Let me know anything at all I can do now or in the future.
