Kenneth Wayne Juul was born February 16, 1931, at Mitchell, SD, to Ralph and Nellie (Kilstrom) Juul. He graduated from Mitchell High School in 1949, and attended Dakota Wesleyan University. He was employed at Tobins Transfer, was a member of the South Dakota National Guard and the Mitchell Municipal Band. On June 24, 1953, he married Inice Younie at the First United Methodist Church in Mitchell. He moved to California and was employed at C.F. Braun Co. He graduated from California State College in Los Angeles and was a teacher at La Puente, CA for a number of years. He returned to Mitchell in 1999.
He is survived by his wife, Inice; one daughter, Sonna Betts and husband, Curtis, of Eagle, Idaho; two grandchildren, Nicola and Carl; and one sister, Mary Lou Johnson of Mitchell. He was preceded in death by an infant brother.
