Mary Sorine Wolf was born January 22, 1915 at White Lake to Chris and Elise (Sorenson) Hansen.  She attended grade school in Gales Township and graduated from White Lake High School in 1932. She attended Southern Teachers College in Springfield, SD and Notre Dame College in Mitchell.  For eight years she taught in rural schools. 

On February 3, 1940 she married Clarence Wolf.  They farmed southeast of White Lake until moving into White Lake in September 1971.  Clarence also operated a feed store for several years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, a card club and extension club for many years.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and two sisters.
