Shirley was a great person. I hadn't heard about her passing until now since we moved to Texas. She worked with my family (Lynn and Ronda Barta, Carolyn Stevenson, Marge Stevenson) at Randall Foods, and I always visited with her when she came in the store with my great-grandmother. Shirley and Marge were a riot together, always going dancing. I'll never forget seeing them getting breakfast at I-90 at 1:30 in the morning after a night of polka dancing. She had such energy and was always at my Show Choir perfomances in high school, and always had very kind words to say. She will be greatly missed.
