Robert James Bollack was born February 16, 1927, at Mitchell, to Lawrence and Olga (Magnuson) Bollack. He grew up and attended school in Mitchell. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was a carpenter in Mitchell for many years. He was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by eight children: Rhonda Amussen of Madison, SD, Rodney Bollack and wife, Barbara, of Griffin, GA, Dennis Bollack of Mitchell, SD, Doug Bollack of Mitchell, SD, Dan Bollack and wife Diane, of Minneapolis, MN, Jan Johnson and husband, Tom of Mitchell, SD, Roger Bollack and wife, Marge of Mitchell, SD, Becky Oehlerking and fiance Paul Warnke, of New Prague, MN and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Hansen.
