To Gert's family members,
We are so saddened to hear of your loss and sorry we did not check the Mitchell paper over the Christmas holiday. We had always expected to attend her final farewell.

What a joy Gert was in our lives. She could always see the positive ("Life is good, but you have to make it that way") and we loved her interest in people.

She was an angel sent by God in our time of need with Pauline and we try to live up to her example of caring for the lonely and needy. Her arrival in heaven must have been a joyous, triumphant occasion. It has to be an even better place to be now that Gert is there.

Dear Dennis and Duane family,
Sorry to hear that Auntie Gert passed away. She was one of my favorites. Sorry that we cannot make the service. We will
be on our way to Arizona for the winter. It looks as if mother will be the last of the Westerling children. Maybe we should have a cousin reunion this summer. Lee and Carol Boltjes
