I was a paraprofessional for Mr Messer at Aurora Plains Academy for a year! He taught me so much and always kept the kids engaged in learning! He will be a mentor and friend I shall miss forever!

I worked with Steve in our STS days as well as our APA days. I'm going to miss our talks about kids, sports and life. He was a great mentor and role model for all who's lives he came in contact with. My sympathies to his family.

I worked with Steve and carpooled with him to the State Training School and found his wit to be a blessing. Children benefited from his time spent with him in the classroom. My sympathy to his family.
