I was a young teller at Commercial Bank in the early 80's when I first met Vern. He was always so full of energy and wit and took his job very seriously. I have thought of him many times over the years - lots of fond memories. We loved when it was his birthday because his wife always made the most delicious caramel rolls for everyone at the bank. Rest in peace, Vern!

I had the HONOR of getting to be one of Vern's caretakers at Edgewood Senior Living. He was a very gentle man with a witty sense of humor. He always said he couldn't wait to go home and dance with his wife again. Rest in sweet heavenly peace Mr. Vern. Dance away my friend
