Obituary

Sandra Siegenthaler, 75, of Wichita, KS, formerly of Mitchell, SD died Thursday, February 1, 2018. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mitchell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mitchell. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel in Mitchell.

Sandra Lee Siegenthaler was born March 8, 1942 in Mitchell, SD to Charles “Clint” and Ella (Craft) McEntee. She grew up in Mitchell graduating from Notre Dame High School in 1960. She attended Nettleton Community College for two years in Minneapolis, MN. On May 11, 1974 she married Richard Siegenthaler. She was employed by Northwestern Public Service in Mitchell until moving to Fremont, NE. Sandra owned a home daycare center in Fremont and was also employed at Walmart. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mitchell, St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont, NE for 20 years and St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic church in Wichita, KS. She was a Xi Alpha Beta member.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard of Wichita, daughter, Jennifer Siegenthaler of Wichita, son, Chris (Cassie) Siegenthaler of Madison, WI, eight grandchildren: Saije Henderson, Quinn Siegenthaler, Bauss and Jette Longton and Fiona, Rose and Sebastian Siegenthaler and Jaben, two brothers: Tom (Roberta) McEntee and Tim (Delores) McEntee of Mitchell, sister-in-law, Karen Crisco of Denver, CO, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Rich & Kids, Tom and Tim, I have such wonderful memories of Sandy as kids at the farm. She was a lovely person and always so good to me as were all of you. She is forever in my heart and memory. Our deepest sympathies for your loss.
