Ruby Evelyn Williams was born September 19, 1919 in Pasadena, CA to Rev. David and Ruth (Fitch) Reynolds.  Her childhood was a series of moves from one pastorate to another.  When she was ten the family moved to Colorado Springs, CO.  She attended high school and later college at the Immanuel Missionary Bible School there.  While still in college, she began teaching in the high school and taught for five years.  On June 17, 1946 in Colorado Springs, CO she married Thomas H. Williams.  Together they pastored churches in Higgins, TX, Miller, NE, Mitchell, NE and Colorado Springs, CO.  In 1969 the family moved to Mitchell, SD.  After her husband’s death in 1972, she returned to teaching, this time at Faith Bible School.  She taught there for twenty-five years until she retired at age 77.  She was a long time member of the Faith Missionary Church.

She is survived by her four sons:  David and wife, Marilyn, Blythewood, SC, Jonathan and wife, Beth, Lansing, MI, Philip and wife, Lorrie and Paul and wife, Norma all of Mitchell, SD; a brother, Rev. Paul D. Reynolds and wife, Mary Evelyn, Frankfort, IN; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and eight nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sister, Florence Grace Hobbs.

My love and sympathy are there with all of you! She was a great woman of God and raised a great son for my husband. Her love for her family and the joy she took in being with them and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren are some great memories I have of her. God bless!
