Beverly Paulene Lauinger was born April 23, 1934, at Chamberlain, SD, to Chris and Myrtle (Carrick) Weber. She grew up and attended schools at Chamberlain, Oacoma and Pukwana. On October 22, 1953, she married Joseph Lauringer at Pierre, SD. She was employed at J.C. Penney and Skogmo General Store in Chamberlain and then she sold shoes at a department store in Linton, ND. She was co-owner and manager of the Coffee Cup and Joe’s Place in Chamberlain. She cared for forty-seven foster children and worked at Community Bailey Hospital as a nurses aide and med aide. She operated a concession stand and did cleaning at Federal North Park. She moved to Mitchell and was a waitress at the Lawler Café in Mitchell. She enjoyed gardening, children, service to her church and baking. She had been a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Mitchell. She was a member of the DAV Auxiliary, RSVP and had been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by three children: Rollin Lauinger of Mitchell, SD, Cheryl Baker and husband, Larry of Mount Vernon, SD, Becky Dalldorf and husband, Dale of Mitchell, SD; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three brothers: Max Weber and wife, Audrey of Brandon, FL, Darrel Weber of Milwaukee, OR, Roger Weber of Mitchell; and one sister, Velda Hall and husband, Jack of Gettysburg, SD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 2005, four brothers: William, Harold, Jerome and Warren Weber and three sisters: Lorraine Heidepriem, Dorothy Drew and Wanda Ellingson
