Janet, we are in the hospital waiting for a procedure for Gus I felt sad that he passed away. We still laugh remembering
That Walt and Larry Winter would beat Gus back to his dorm room and get on his bed for a nap and Gus would end up on the floor. Walt was one of the best He passed as open minded and non judgemental...always a friend and you were smart with a happy spirit. much love to you during this sad time Sally

Dear Janet and family. I was so sorry to hear of Walter's passing. I have so many good memories of all of you. Your family certainly brought a light to Murdo and Walter's progressive and youthful manner of preaching and working with young people had a huge effect, at least on my life. Janet, you were such a cheerful, supporting and clever person as well. I know Mom and Dad loved going to the movies with you and hearing your joint laughter. I am remembering one partiicular time in White River. And I'll never forget your Halloween prank and "Sic him, Brenda, Sic him!" I am so glad I got to see you both a few years ago. it's been a long time, but

Dear Janet and family. I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Walter except from seeing him in church. But I have known several members of his family. Elviera & her sister Dorothy. Rosalie was a couple years ahead of me in nurses training at Methodist Hospital .I've known you, Janet since you were a small redheaded girl visiting your father, Rev Bonney when he was a patient at the hospital..Love & sympathy to your family.

Walt & I were born the same year. We served many years together in SD conference. The UMC in Underwood produced many leaders - some still with us. I preached there twice in my lifetime.

I remember you well. I remember that you loaned us a VW van to go on a vacation with all our kids. WE had a bug so it was a roomy ride for us.

It was our pleasure to have known Walt, whom we admired so much. He leaves a wonderful legacy as a servant leader.

RIP Pastor Nelson. You baptized one of our kids when you were in Ethan. You were one of my favorites.
