Ronald Conrad Steffes was born March 24, 1956 in Mitchell to George and Ruth (Tegethoff) Steffes. Ron started his career of cooking, by working at the Town House Café in Mitchell during high school. In the early seventies he moved with his family to Ohio and graduated from high school. In 1977 he married Carlisha Snider. In 1984 he and his family returned to Mitchell, where he continued to cook at the Holiday Inn, the Depot and the Scoreboard. Ron loved to throw darts and had won many awards.
He is survived by his two daughters: April Steffes and fiancé, Mike Neugebauer of Mitchell, Christina (Scott) Klinghagen of Tea; a sister, Linda Steffes and a brother, Clarence (LaRue) Steffes of Mitchell and five grandchildren: Caylor Johnson, Memphis and Tyson Klinghagen, Jadden and A J Krumholz.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
