My condolences to the family of Irma Wise. Like my brother Ron, I also would stay at the house and play with Greg. I remember the garden, her VW Bug car, playing hid and seek with the dog
in her house, I think the name of the dog was Tibbie. I also remember one of the girls, I think Marilyn taking two raccoons from the farm, and Greg a jack rabbit bunnie which Harold later let go on the farm when it was full grown. Irma was always very patient with us boys and I do not ever remembering her upset with us. She was a great LADY.

I was a friend of Irma's son Greg and stayed at their house in Mitchell two weeks or more for most summers when I was in grade school. I remember her writing IOU notes for Greg and I to take to the neighborhood grocery to buy candy. I don't recall her ever scolding me or anything but being real good to me. She was a good person. I am glad to have known her and to have this most pleasant memory of her. I hope my thoughts hear bring some comfort to her family.

Sending our deepest sympathy to Irma's family! Irma and Harold were great friends to my parents Clyde & Esther Olson who are both deceased now! Harold flew his airplane out to our farm north of Mitchell and took me as a small child on my first airplane ride! I later worked for them in their home and also in their cafe west of Mithchell! I will not be able to attend the funeral as I live with my husband Gene in Lodi,California! Wonderful people leaving me with many memories! Love you Irma!😢😢

My condolences to the family of Irma and Lorraine Wise. I have rented land from Irma and Harold for over 25 years. They were great landlords and although I did not deal with them personally the last few years I enjoyed visiting with Irma and Harold in their home. We are sorry for your loss.

My condolences to the family of Irma Wise. My parents were Leo & Elsie Hemmer, who are both deceased. We lived on Harold's farm near the Jame's River. Harold was a nice landlord, would come to get eggs from us, & often stayed to tinker in the farm, or just stay to visit. He would brig his son, Gregory out to play with my brothers n sisters, who were younger than myself. On those visits Irma sometimes joined them. She too was a kind lady.

When the article about Irma reaching the age of 100 appeared in the Daily Republic I put the link on our Hemmer website, so my 11 siblings could read & enjoy it. On our Hemmer website the siblings who were old enough to remember them posted "memories".

I am in Washington DC now with my husband Gary, and unable to attend Irma's services.

May the memories you have of life with Irma bring you Peace, & Comfort all these days. She is now with Hatold, & once again they are together.
