Randy “Pops” Lawrence Larson was born February 15, 1954 in Wessington Springs, SD to Lawrence and Agnes (Knutson) Larson.  He graduated from Plankinton High School in 1972. He attended Mitchell Technical Institute for carpentry. On August 10, 1974 he married Judy Brink in Plankinton. Randy worked doing construction and flooring for twenty-six plus years. He enjoyed watching his twin sons, Brandon and Brad play high school basketball.  He was an avid sports fan and thoroughly loved the 49er’s and playing golf with his sons.

He is survived by his six children: Brenda (Brian) Boddicker, Plankinton, Brian (Paula) Larson, Mitchell, Brandon (Laura) Larson, Rochester, MN, Brad (Carlie) Larson, Sioux Falls and John and Eric Larson, Madison; six grandchildren: Tyler and Austin Manning, Cole and Brittany Bathke, Natalie Larson and Linorah Larson, one great-granddaughter, Avery Manning; six brothers and sisters: Barbara (Walter) Mindt, San Tan Valley, AZ, Sharelle Meyer, Madison, Dianne (John) Noyes, Pierre, Rosemary Maine, Mitchell, Rick (Jo) Larson, Plankinton and Roger (Kim) Larson, Brandon and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, brother-in-law, Gary Meyer and a nephew.

So sorry for your loss. I graduated with his sister Barb and Randy was younger but they are a very close family so his loss will be felt by all. Praying for safe travels for the family. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Our condolences.....Was a privilege to grow up having Randy as one of the elders I looked up to. I will always remember him as one of the big hitters in the softball games I grew up watching when he and all our Dads were playing back in the day.

Randy was a guy who would do anything for you. He always had a smile on his face when you saw him, sure going to miss him.
