Carrie, you do not know me. I am a new employee at Boyds. I wanted to share with you how affected my wife and I were in hearing the news of Kurt's passing. I've heard nothing but good things about Kurt and what a wonderful guy he is. Though I never met him, I have felt the love and respect that many others at Boyds have for him. Truly, we all have been blessed by his presence. My wife, Jodi, and I want you to know that we are praying for you and your family during this very difficult time, and our hearts are grieving with you at this loss. There is only one thing that I can say with certainty...and that is that Kurt's spirit lives on. We will pray for strength for you and yours over the next year. Christ be with you.

Carrie, I open up Facebook and read all the lovely posts of memories and pictures... hoping I can write something. I open Kurt's guest book ...... I close them both as I have no words. Wishing this would not have happened, knowing you are wondering why and having to accept never knowing the answer. My hope for you friend, is that the healing brings you and your family strength, courage and a bond that no one else will understand, because Kurt is in your heart and will be whispering in your ear from above, helping and guiding you all.
