Doris Gayle Hildebrand was born August 13, 1927 in Hanson County to Francis and Abbie (Theis) Bowling. She attended Farmer High School. She married Duane Hildebrand on February 7, 1950 at Farmer. She worked at G. F. Buche Co. clothing store, JC Penney, the American Legion and Holy Family Catholic Church until her retirement. Doris loved playing cards, was an avid bingo player and loved her trips to the casino. She loved puppy sitting for Peanut, Dolly, Raven and enjoyed when Sophie the cat came to visit. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the American Legion.
She is survived by her children: son, Craig (Amy) Hildebrand of Mitchell, SD, daughters: Sherri Reinesch of Mitchell, SD and Deb (Tim) Havrevold of Minneapolis, MN; a brother, Dean (Lorna) Bowling of Mesa, AZ; eight grandchildren: Michelle (Lenny) Huber, Jennifer (Tony) Gilardi, Charles (Jennifer) Hildebrand, Megan Hildebrand, Joel (Liza) Reinesch, Jodi Reinesch Ruden (Corey Elward), Matthew, and Alex (Mary) Havrevold; twelve great-grandchildren: Nick and Jess Huber, Anna and Joseph Gilardi, Tyson Hildebrand, Cade, Riley and Davis Cowins, Coy and Emma Reinesch, and Shawn and Blake Ruden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane; two sisters: Lucine Klinkhammer and Lorraine Lienemann; brother, Boyd Bowling; and son-in-law, Ken Reinesch.
