Marjorie Ethel Baker was born June 13, 1917 at Kennebec, SD to James and Viola (Thorne) Glass. She was a graduate from the Kennebec High School. On May 5, 1940 she married Everett Baker. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon, the Senior Citizens and the various Ladies Church groups. She resided at Crystal Manor in Mitchell for 10 years before moving to Avera Brady Health and Rehab.
She is survived by two children: George (Yukiko) Baker, Murfreesboro, TN and Ethel (Mark) Vivoda, Pueblo, CO; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett, one daughter, Helen Williamson, two sisters and three brothers.
