Frances Marie Teuber was born on December 25th, 1934 to Harold and Helen (Swoboda) Cranston in Huron, SD. She grew up in Huron and graduated from Huron High School.
Fran was a longtime registered nurse in Mitchell working at Methodist Hospital and later Avera Queen of Peace Hospital.
Fran and her first husband, Rod Hanson, owned and operated the Lake Vue Drive Inn Movie Theater, the K&L Ranch Motel and the Karmel Korn Shop in the 60's & 70's. Fran spent her winters in Mesa, Arizona and enjoyed playing golf, cards, mahjong and spending time with good friends. Fran was involved in Jaycettes, Beta Sigma Phi, SDNA, the Red Hatters and the Methodist Church.
She is survived by her three children: Kim (Barry) Homan of Devils Lake, ND, Tom (Carmen) Hanson of Sioux Falls, and Lynn Heiter of Sioux Falls. Her memory will also be cherished by her ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren with two more on the way. Fran has two surviving sisters, Connie Cranston and Phyllis Lewallen along with husband Bob, all of Billings, MT.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Teuber of Huron and stepdaughter, Michele Fox of Mankato, MN.
