Obituary

Debra Marie Muntefering Jackson was born September 26, 1968 in Parkston to William and Dorothy (Hohn) Muntefering. She grew up on her parent’s farm at rural Ethan and graduated from Ethan High School in 1986. She graduated from Lake Area Vo-Tech in Watertown to be a Home Health Care Technician. She was employed by Thermal Set Plastics in Mitchell for several years and then worked as a CNA and a Medication Aide until 2001, when she became disabled due to Charcot Marie Tooth Muscular Dystrophy.

She is survived by her two children: Jennifer and Andrew Jackson, her mother, Dorothy Muntefering, Mitchell; her special friend, David Ogden, Mitchell; one sister, Darla Muntefering, Mitchell and one brother, Doug Muntefering, Ethan.

She was preceded in death by her father, William and a brother, Dave.
