Donald Joseph Yungbluth was born January 31, 1953, at Wagner, SD, to Donald and Betty (Saltzman) Yungbluth. He graduated from Wagner High School in 1971 and Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, in 1975, with a BA Degree in Business Economics. On February 2, 1974, he married Barbara Frager at Wagner. He was employed at UPS for 34 years until his retirement in 2008. Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was a friend to all. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was an active member in the community over the years participating in organizations such as the Knights of Columbus, youth baseball and Ducks Unlimited. Don loved to hunt and fish. He was also an avid outdoorsman and sports fan. He also loved to attend youth and high school sporting events but nothing got him going more than the Green Bay Packers and Dakota Wesleyan athletics; Go Tigers!
Don is survived by his wife of 40 years, Barb Yungbluth; his son Jay (Kelly) Yungbluth of Sioux Falls, SD; two daughters, Lori (Travis) Olson of Madison, SD, Jennifer (Vince) Leno of Sioux Falls, SD; seven grandchildren: Rachel, Kai, Myles, Tyler, Mason, Kendall and Taylor; two sisters, Joni Rabenberg of Tea, SD, Linda (Boyd) Kesler of Estherville, IA; his mother-in-law, Phyllis Frager; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law, Larry Frager; and his brother-in-law, Gaylon Rabenberg.
