Obituary

 

 

Jerauld Ray Oswald was born at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, SD on September 29, 1938 to Raymond and Lorraine (Edelman) Oswald. He served in the US Army from 1955 to 1959 and was stationed in Germany.  He worked as a heavy equipment operator and concrete finisher for thirty years.

 

He is survived by his children, Garo Oswald and wife, Rhoda of Beresford, Tracy  Oswald of Lennox, Lisa Steever of Beresford, Wade Oswald and wife, Leslie of Nora Center; his eight grandchildren: Ryan, Jessie, Meghan, Mitchell, Dillon, Amanda, Taylor and Stone; two great-grandchildren, Lance and Gabe; his mother, Lorraine Croucher of Mitchell; one sister, Sharon Nagel and husband, Joe of Mitchell; three brothers: Darrell Oswald and wife, Janice of Beatrice, NE, Guy Croucher of Aberdeen and Brad Croucher and wife, Kathy of Mitchell.

 

He was preceded in death by his father in 1970.
