Roger Lee Miller was born on October 26, 1952 to Gordon and Avis (Bickett) Miller in Madison, SD. He grew up on a farm west of Sinai, SD and graduated from Arlington High School in 1970. He operated his own businesses most of his life, most recently the River Hills Motel and Bait Buster. He was a friend to many and was very influential in the community of Lake Andes. He married Jaqueline Roy in 2011. They loved to fish on Sundays and took yearly vacations to celebrate their anniversary. Roger liked to play pinnacle, sing karaoke, and go ATV riding with his friends and family.
Roger was surrounded by many friends and family as he ended his battle with cancer. He was loved very dearly by his children and his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife Jackie Miller of Lake Andes; children: Sonny Miller, Mark Miller, Michelle Miller, and Kimberly Peetz; his parents, Gordon and Avis Miller; brothers: Gary (Deb) Miller, Jim (Gail) Miller; sister, Vicky (Ken) Levene and eleven grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford and Alvina Miller and Perle and Vella Bickett.
