Mike Hettinger
MICHAEL HETTINGER, the son of Marvin and Lucille Hettinger grew up on a dairy farm between Stickney and White Lake with eleven brothers and sisters.  Mike graduated from Stickney High School, attended Mitchell Vocational Technical School, Dakota Wesleyan University and is a graduate of the Worsham College of Mortuary Science.
 
While in Chicago, he was employed at Weinstein Brothers Funeral Home.  Mike has been involved full time in funeral service for over 33 years. Mike and his wife Marlene have six children and thirteen grandchildren.  He attends the Northridge Baptist Church, and is a member of the Mitchell Rotary Club and the Mitchell Exchange Club. He serves as chairman of the Exchange Club Flag Committee.  He and his wife, Marlene are members of the Mitchell Trap Club and the South Dakota Trap Shooting Association where Mike serves on the Board of Directors. They both compete on the State, Regional and National level.
